What you can measure, you can manage!
WellMojo visualizes your current health and wellbeing with a personal Wellness Index, a scientifically calculated number from 1 (low) to 1,000 (high). It is based on who you are (body), how you feel (feelings) and how you live (lifestyle). Your Wellness Index moves up or down in real-time, depending on how your body values, emotional wellbeing and lifestyle (exercise, nutrition, stress and sleep) change. When tracked over time, it offers you a good indicator of how your health and wellbeing is evolving.
To be active and help you remain engaged, WellMojo applies motivation techniques from behavioral science and popular online games, uses collaborative features from groups and social networks, and it provides personalized feedback. The result: you get real-time lifestyle coaching and personal feedback.
WellMojo decided to go for a Score and not an age-related measure (such as bio-age, real-age, etc.) for two very important reasons: Wellics wanted an indicator, where “elderly” people could compare themselves to “young” people, and also women could compare themselves to men. To do so, Wellics went through a mathematical process called equalization for age and sex, so that the Wellness Index could be used as a universal measure of health ranking.
Body: The Wellness Index measures your body values in terms of your gender, age, height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure and blood values as well as several other parameters. These are objective data values that WellMojo uses, based on internationally and widely validated medical studies, to provide a medically-accurate measure of your health in real-time. This combination of your lifestyle data and Wellics’s analysis enable WellMojo to calculate your Baseline Score, your initial Wellness Index.
Feelings: How you feel about your own health can be a crucial factor in determining your overall state of health. The quality of life questions help to quantify the mental wellbeing of an individual and they are based on a self-assessment questionnaire in order to measure the key aspects of the mental wellbeing of a person.
Lifestyle: Your lifestyle has a major impact on your overall health and wellbeing. With WellMojo you can track exercise, nutrition, stress, sleep, and provide information on your smoking and alcohol habits (if any).
Exercise: WellMojo recognizes a multitude of outdoor and indoor activities. You can track exercise automatically, by using the WellMojo app for smartphones or by connecting and using many of the most popular external fitness tracking apps and devices (e.g. Fitbit, Garmin, etc.). A selected number of outdoor activities have detailed GPS and heart rate based energy models. These models consider information such as distance, speed, calorie burn, slope and heart rate (if available).
Nutrition: The WellMojo Nutrition Coach is based on questions, answers and hints. The Nutrition Coach also offers personal goals and reminders, with the aim to guide and motivate you to adopt a healthier diet over time. Wellics has implemented an artificial intelligence engine through which the Nutrition Coach can give you well-targeted hints, improve your wellbeing and give you suggestions based on your profile and set of objectives.
Stress: All WellMojo stress related data is captured via questions launched by the Wellics Coach.
Sleep: Your sleep data can be integrated automatically by using external activity bands such as Fitbit or Garmin.
WellMojo provides flexibility in how you can track your lifestyle data. In addition to the integrated fitness tracker in the WellMojo app (iPhone, Android), WellMojo also supports many of the most popular fitness tracking devices and apps, such as Fitbit, Jawbone, Garmin etc.
WellMojo works as your personal health coach in your pocket, motivates you to keep going, rewards you for your personal achievements and helps you to attain your personal goals!
