sleep 1

An essential element of employee wellness programs is prioritizing sleep, as it represents one of the most underestimated behaviors impacting physical and mental health. Sleep deprivation, labeled a 'public health epidemic' by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is linked to various health issues, including hypertension, diabetes, depression, obesity, and cancer.

Studies reveal that insufficient and poor-quality sleep significantly impairs work performance. Employees who don't get adequate sleep tend to work fewer hours, prefer simpler tasks, and exhibit reduced motivation, creativity, and ethical behavior. In the United States alone, the projected annual cost of lost productivity due to sleep deprivation is estimated at $411 billion. Another study suggests that the average annual cost of sleep deprivation for each employee hovers around $2,000

By giving employees helpful advice on how to live, work, and sleep better, our first module in wellness programs aims to increase employee understanding of the value of sleep. Even a minor increase can significantly impact their effectiveness at work and overall well-being.

05

The heightened risk to mental health significantly affects employee productivity, engagement, and retention, making it a central concern within employee wellness programs.

According to a Deloitte study, 41% of employees reported that workplace stress negatively impacted their productivity in the context of wellness programs. In comparison, 33% stated it diminished their engagement, and 15% admitted to actively seeking new job opportunities due to stress. The cost of poor employee mental health to UK firms ranges from £42 to £45 billion annually.

Our second educational component within our employee wellness program equips your team with the tools to effectively manage stress and minor annoyances at home and work. This leads to a more harmonious and efficient work environment, ultimately supporting employee wellbeing

phicical 1

Did you realize that even if you engage in 30 minutes of exercise five days a week, sitting for five hours daily can be as detrimental as smoking 1.25 packs of cigarettes?

In our third educational program, your employees will discover the perils of a sedentary lifestyle and the benefits of regular exercise. Our experts will impart valuable insights on employee wellbeing benefits and practical advice for enhancing their overall well-being with minimal effort.

Simple changes like parking your car two blocks away or setting reminders to stand up periodically can significantly promote employee well-being within your wellness program.

nutrition 1

Recent statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive, and Kidney Diseases underscore the pressing need to address the issue of overweight and obesity, especially within employee wellness programs.

Body weight primarily hinges on two pivotal factors: physical activity and nutrition. While we've already delved into the former in a previous module, the latter will be the focus of our upcoming segment in our comprehensive employee wellness program.

As a vital component of your wellness programs, our nutritionist will elucidate the intricacies of food functionality and empower your staff with the knowledge to make informed decisions for sustainable eating habits, ultimately reaping the benefits of improved employee well-being.

Our emphasis lies in fostering lifestyle changes, not quick fixes.
